Kirsty has coached professional actors in Los Angeles, New York and internationally for the past 20 years. Mentored by acclaimed acting coach Susan Batson, for whom she taught and managed Black Nexxus Acting Studios in New York, Kirsty is able to quickly get to the heart of the matter – bringing out the best in all her clients.

Kirsty has trained as an actress in Sydney, London, New York and Los Angeles with numerous renowned teachers studying all the major acting techniques – Stanislavsky’s method, Meisner technique, Stella Alder’s process – and brings all their influences together in her dynamic approach to working with actors.

Her wealth of knowledge, tools and methodology gives her a mixed arsenal to achieve groundbreaking coaching results. Her clients have been nominated for EMMY’s, INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARDS, CANADIAN SCREEN and SATURN AWARDS for the rich character work they have developed through coaching with Kirsty. A specialty of her work is character-building and analysis. Based on what is written on the page she helps create in-depth character histories and behaviour with her actors in order to bring to life vivid, riveting, complex humans.
